Covid19 has become a part of our lives these past weeks. Where we are now, it has escaped nobody’s attention that it is having a worldwide effect, it is threatening structures and challenging resources. Whole countries are closing down and going about the everyday business is limited in every respect. The stock markets all over the world are being affected etc. We are once again seeing how many of the structures that we have created are in fact vulnerable.

I have given this a lot of thought and whether I am right or wrong, but could it be that this is meant to happen, to make us as a human race stop and think? What are we doing to ourselves, each other and the beautiful earth we inhabit? Could it be that it is now time to question old values and structures and begin to find other solutions not just based on money, production and consumption? It is obvious to me this is what is controlling the world. Yes, of course we must survive, but ultimately, when it comes down to greed and selfishness, that is when we get into trouble. History tells us again and again that stock markets cannot be relied upon, it is artificial and sooner or later that will collapse, because it has no foundation.

Last Saturday I was driving back from Jönköping and the roads were almost empty. Many are staying at home, which is understandable. People are panic hording; there is some kind of frenzy. When we go into panic that is when we start making even bigger mistakes. I do not make these comments as a criticism, but it is the way that I question myself. Us human beings are responsible for the world that we live in and what we do to it: Pollution etcetera. We have in many ways lost all respect for our world. Is it power, greed…? I do not know…

On a personal level I do believe we are being given a wake-up call. Until we learn we will go back to the same things again and again! The climate change we are experiencing, is it nature’s way of fighting back to say stop? Some refuse to believe it, so we do not stop, we just put our head in the sand and continue blindly.

How do you think? Are we respecting one another when we are only focused on our own lives and what we (I) want? I am certainly not perfect, but every time I come up against something that creates chaos in my life, whatever it concerns, it is all a valuable lesson for me. Almost every time the circumstances I find myself in is of my own creation, simply because I do not want to face something within myself.

I strongly feel there is a valid lesson for us all to learn, from governments to the ordinary person. Do we collectively create this kind of chaos, without knowing what we are doing?

There are people who are working hard trying to find a solution to this virus-wave and many brave and dedicated people who are working with those who have been afflicted, they deserve all the appreciation we can give.

Try not to allow yourself to go into panic, because that will not help you or anyone around you. Instead, do your best to keep calm and take one day at a time, perhaps that is another way we can protect ourselves? Could it be that a state of panic removes our natural protection? I do not know with certainty, but I am certainly going to try to keep calm and in balance.

Terry Evans interest in parapsychology and mediumship began at an early age. His first encounter with an actual spiritualist medium came at the age of 22, when he was given his first private consultation by a medium. The effects of that experience were to prove to be a turning point in his life, offering new realisations. These realisations motivated Terry to develop his own inner potential of mediumship and intuition.
