Do animals have a soul! Many people would say: No, they do not, and that is why animals as such are not allowed to be buried in consecrated ground. I remember a cat that we had many years ago. This cat had a thing about water. It loved water, which is unusual for a cat. It liked to sleep on a shelf in the bedroom. Then one day it did not come home, and we never saw him again. One night a day or so later my partner and I was lying and talking in the bed and suddenly we could feel the cat jump up onto the bed and from there onto the shelf, just like he used to do. It happened a couple of times. My partner had a way with animals, she could even have a wild deer eating out of her hand.
Many times when I have had private readings spirits have brought back animals who have been loved, but I remember a man who came to a reading, his relatives started coming through. He was listening, but with a bemused expression on his face. I asked him what was wrong, he said: I have not come to talk to people on the other side, I just want to know how my dog is. You could see that he was sad that his companion had passed on.
“Love can never be erased, it leaves a permanent mark.
Animals have a far more developed sensitivity than us. When they see or sense something they just know it to be right. They can even see spirits and feel them, but they both react to people and spirits, or the negative energy. If they sense danger they will go into defense mode and let the entity or the person (spirit or person in life) that they must keep away.
I have often discussed with my wife, who is actually in charge in the house. Is it the animal or the human being who is in control? Do we unconsciously serve their needs? My wife often points out that we are part of their family. Sometimes they wish to be the leader, but then there might be a few problems. However, in life or death animals will never forget the love they have experienced. That love goes with them even in the life after. Love can never be erased, it leaves a permanent mark.
When I lived in London I had two Border collies, intelligent and sharp. If ever I had a really bad day they would jump up onto the sofa on either side of me and rest their heads on my shoulders to comfort me. This brings a smile to my face when I think back, Border collies are highly intelligent and manipulative. That was the only time they were allowed onto the sofa, normally they were not allowed.
“When God created this world “he” gave us many beautiful things,
nature and wildlife.
Animals give so much back, they teach us to play again and how to have fun. Animals become our friends and even save our lives in many different ways. Our two dogs were always up to mischief and they would make me laugh. When God created this world “he” gave us many beautiful things, nature and wildlife. Some of these animals became more and more domesticated though time, but we did not just teach them about love, they taught us too.
Sometimes when I observe my wife working with her animals, I watch her heart open and how love almost flows out. It is an amazing spectacle. I never quite get used to it when I witness the contact she has with living creatures. Life is about respecting every living thing. The beauty of this incredible world that we live within… what a gift us humans have been given! The sad thing is we do not know how to take care of it.
The soul takes many forms, even nature has a soul. The world in which we live in has many different souls and in one way or another they are connected.
