I would like to share with you how I prepare myself for the day in order to preserve my energy. It is very important for me in my work as a teacher and medium, but we all meet situations in our everyday life that can disturb us or affect us and put us out of balance.
We think a lot about our lives, troubling situations that have a negative effect on us. It goes back to feelings, we have a feeling we cannot identify, we do not know why we feel in a certain way. This can take a lot of energy and cause a lot of stress. That is why I tell my students: Have a dialogue with your feelings, let them be there and embrace them. Do not send them away. They have so much information to give you. I have discovered that it very often helps us identify the source or the problem. It comes to you and takes you to the source: So this is what has been bothering me!
When I do this I sit quietly with an open my mind, not expecting an answer, not analysing, just to feel. When that feeling comes close to me it becomes a part of me. As I sit with it, the feeling begins to change. It is as if the feelings are taking me on a journey back to the source and as it does that I feel lighter and more at ease, but sometimes this can take a few days.
With this process I am giving the feeling an opportunity to communicate with me, it does not always do it with words or pictures, it does it through additional feelings. It is almost like opening a door to a room that I have not been into for some time. Suddenly the room reveals the feeling inside and that releases the negative source.
I never know how long this process will take, but the interesting thing it puts me into balance quite quickly to meet the demands of the day, whatever they may be. The feelings want to share their secrets with you. When you give them room, when you release them, they know how to find their way to your conscious mind. They know how to set you free.
You should practice this sometime, it is amazing! It takes a little discipline to do, but with time it becomes something you would not want to be without. This has helped me a great deal over the years. Without this routine I do not know what I would do. My feelings are my friends, they come to help me and enlighten me and then I can take more responsibility for my own life. The interesting thing is you become more aware of when you project your feelings onto someone else.
