I have written some articles where I have mentioned the research I have been doing with Chinese and Swedish scientists over the last 10 years or so. During that time I have understood that the resource us mediums use is much bigger than we can even begin to realise. I have found a way to go to nine different levels of consciousness by using a technique that the spirit world has taught me. Over the last four years of using the technique with the Mountain Meditation, which is the face and resource of this technique, the spirit world has clearly shown the link between spirituality and science.

It has shown me that the different levels of consciousness I have gone to have their own unique information to give, and I have realised that I will receive the information I need to develop my work, my understanding of this huge resource. It does not respond to demand or ego, should that be part of it there is an automatic shut down. To receive the information that this technique offers you have to have the open mind of a child.

By using this technique in China, after two weeks we had sufficient information to present at an international conference in Sigtuna. Funnily enough, after returning from my first visit in China, I quite unexpectedly received addresses to an American and a Russian website, independent from one another, saying there are nine different levels within the human mind.

“It has helped me understand that whatever level of consciousness I go to there is always something there to be understood or realised.

This technique has given me a place to go. Where it has given me insights and instruction. It has played such an important part in my personal development. I receive solace and support. In many ways it has begun to eradicate my fears. It has helped me understand that whatever level of consciousness I go to there is always something there to be understood or realised. This technique has become a friend, a constant companion, with many different faces and many different identities. Every so often I have these spontaneous realisations, they just are. This has shown me that spirit and science are connected. One cannot live without the other.

The face of this technique is the Mountain Meditation, which has also proved to be a very useful tool in developing emotional intelligence and for personal development, enabling us to realise who we are and what we need to learn to be more responsible in the manner we conduct our lives. Over many years I have witnessed how the meditation has helped people create an order to their inner world.

“No medium gets it right every time, but from the feedback and the experience I have working as a channel for spirit, I now realise that I have visited these nine levels of intelligence many times.

Prior to starting the research I was beginning to become a little restless. There was something that I needed to understand, but I had not found a form or an inner reference. I had kind of reached a plateau where things had come to a halt – it seemed. This meditation and the nine different levels that exists behind it has taken me to a new beginning and given me so many challenges. It has offered me new insights and new pathways to explore.

My feeling is that one day people open to the higher intelligence and to this method will be able to go into these realms and bring back information, thus assisting scientists in creating models for scientific research. One resource I have to draw upon is being experienced as a medium working for many years. No medium gets it right every time, but from the feedback and the experience I have working as a channel for spirit, I now realise that I have visited these nine levels of intelligence many times. The difference now is that I have a map to follow.  I have worked as a medium before not knowing which level I was on, but now I do.

I will give you this to think about: Every time you get a thought or are inspired by something or feel a spirit around, ask yourself from what level of consciousness it really came from.

Terry Evans interest in parapsychology and mediumship began at an early age. His first encounter with an actual spiritualist medium came at the age of 22, when he was given his first private consultation by a medium. The effects of that experience were to prove to be a turning point in his life, offering new realisations. These realisations motivated Terry to develop his own inner potential of mediumship and intuition.
