Perhaps you find me boring, talking so much about patience, but it truly is a very important virtue. If we push on as fast as we can, we can take ourselves into complete confusion and entrapment. It can have an adverse effect on our mental balance. Unfortunately, we are not aware of what a negative effect impatience has on us.
Sometimes impatience takes us into areas of our mind where we become completely lost. In that situation it can be very difficult to find your way back to balance. Then we start to find something to blame. It can be a negative entity or an energy; it is simply someone else’s fault.
Because we were in such a hurry to get were we wanted to go, we got stuck and cannot find our way back to ourselves again. Many people that I have known have made the same mistake. They allowed their egos to take over, and the ego is not always the best companion on our journey through life.
Some get totally entrapped in their minds. I have for instance met mediums that have been stuck like that. They blame bad spirits and do not realise they were in a hurry. They were just thinking about the goal, what they wanted to reach.
If this mindset continues, we can get stuck in a place and we do not even realise that we are stuck. This goes for mediums as well as other people. The best thing to do is to stop and think: Why am I going so fast? What is the point? For me it has been very important to try to take my time with everything, but when I have forgotten about this, thankfully I have been aware enough to take myself back. If we take our time, it is much easier to trace our tracks back to the problem. Sometimes I still have to remind myself that the quickest way is the longest way.
If we take our time, we will learn more and understand so much more than if we are in a hurry. When we are in a hurry we forget to feel and we become less attentive. The objective of the journey is to feel, see and experience. If we are not attentive, we will not see our own shortcomings.
I share this with you to make you aware of the dangers of going to quickly. The only one that can guide you through this is yourself. Patience is a very important virtue for all of us. If we allow it to be a part of our lives, we will be able to avoid many unnecessary situations. Listen to your feelings and be honest with yourself.
Try to feel this text when your read it. Perhaps you will find a new connection to yourself. How do you live your everyday life? Are you present in the moment? Do you need to slow down? If you listen to your feelings, they will tell you the truth.
Enjoy the first of advent!
