I derive great pleasure from my work as a medium and teacher, when I am able to give by using my skills. My greatest joy is to see when what I give, from myself or on behalf of spirit, inspires people, helps them to reconnect and begin to find their purpose, when hope returns to their lives. Hope is not just a feeling; it is a very important factor in the life of a human being.
Sometimes I look back down through the years, at all the people who have come to courses. It is amazing to see that spark in peoples’ eyes, as they have connected with something they feel is right or that works for them. One could say, once you get on the train to hope it can take you to places that you did not believe were possible. Where there is hope there is intent and where there is intent to achieve something, with a completely open mind, it is as if somebody has turned on a light within. When I am not able to give from myself it is as if someone have locked me into a dark room. I do not like being there, but I suppose we all need our dark places at times. By then finding the light we can discover the key to open the door to come back into life.
Sometimes my wife thinks I am a torchbearer. I do not know myself, but something is for sure, when you give from yourself and it helps a human being ignite the light within themselves that is probably the most beautiful thing of all.
“To give without needing to be acknowledged is a wonderful thing, it is love at its most powerful.
Dare shine your light! Because when you do, and dare to give from that light that is what motivates others and gives them energy. For me to see that, it makes me feel alive. Just be who you are, do not become what you are not. Work from your heart. If you can create that balance, you will feel that power flowing through. When you give of yourself remember: What goes around comes around.
We all have the possibility to give from ourselves. The small things are often sufficient, words to a stranger, offering a smile. Each little gesture in itself contains its own magic. To give without needing to be acknowledged is a wonderful thing, it is love at its most powerful. What really surprises me is how suddenly someone can say a word or a short sentence and how much it can reassure and motivate me.
When we give from ourselves, with good intentions and an open heart, for me that is the power of the light – the light within and the light above. I would like to invite you all to contemplate this and I would like to hear your comments about it.
