Since I have been practicing social distancing it has given me time to reflect and time to explore new things. I am really looking forward to starting a new phase in my life. Astrid and I are having time to discuss the future and how we wish to spend our time, running the course centre is a full-time job.

A couple of weeks ago Astrid and I went to Vänersborg to look at houses, we had so much fun! Of course, we had lots of discussions about the houses, but we eventually found a middle ground on lots of things. We are not sure we have found the right house yet, but it is so much fun to take this step. Before I forget, I must hasten to add, it was so good to get away from Fanthyttan for a couple of days and put the virus out of my head for a while.

It is amazing how two people living together can have such different opinions, and then yet find a middle ground where we can say: I like this, no I do not like this. We went to see a house with a beautiful garden with two ponds, each connected by a little stream. It also had what I call a “Hobbit house”, like the one we have in Fanthyttan. I fell in love with it, but as excited as I was about the place, I had to stop myself and think about all the work it would entail. Astrid and I looked at one another and said: No, we cannot let ourselves be seduced by this. We want more time for one another, not more work.

We found another, modern house, open planned and out of every window you could see lake Vänern. But we are not going to rush into anything, we are taking our time to find the right house. At the same time, we still have to sell our present home and the school. There are those interested, so we hope someone will take the step soon.

We had a really good weekend. Each time we visit Vänersborg it is hard to say good bye, but that is a good sign. I do not know why I feel this pull towards Vänersborg, only the future will tell me why. We both like Vänersborg as a town and there is a lot of interesting history around, especially with all the battles of the past between the Scandinavian countries. Later on, I am actually planning on doing some investigations to see what I can find there.

I have always liked water, especially the sea, walking along beaches discovering what the sea has washed up… It has always been my dream to live near the sea. This visit gave us both new perspectives and new ideas.

Even though these past months have been difficult I am seeing new things and new possibilities. I am looking forward entering a new phase in my Life.

Terry Evans interest in parapsychology and mediumship began at an early age. His first encounter with an actual spiritualist medium came at the age of 22, when he was given his first private consultation by a medium. The effects of that experience were to prove to be a turning point in his life, offering new realisations. These realisations motivated Terry to develop his own inner potential of mediumship and intuition.
