The unexpected always happens when you least expect it. Someone that I was close to and had not heard from for many years suddenly contacted me from out of the blue. We started catching up again, reconnecting. Las time I saw this person they were stuck in a mindset and could not move forward. They had not found her true purpose in life and was restless.

As we were talking, my friend told me that they now had found their place in life. Always having been passionate about animals they were now involved in animal welfare and have found peace of mind. It was good to hear that they had found something in their life where they could give their love and receive recognition. This has been life changing for them. I am very happy for my friend.

In having this reconnection, I was reminded of that the unexpected can happen in a very positive way and when we least expect it. This has happened to me many times before. With people and situations.

There are so many out there that are stuck at a cross roads, in a mindset, but sometimes we just have to act, move on. We cannot wait for someone to come and knock on our door to let us out from our cave. By the way, there is no door on a cave…

There is a place in the universe for everybody. But we will only find it when we can put our preconceived ideas to one side. That is when light can come into our cave. When we realise this that is when everything can start to happen. Let the unexpected happen! When we begin to offer from ourselves that is also when we will start to receive.

My friend is happy and content and not looking into the past or to the future. I can identify with all of this. When I think I have nothing more to offer something will happen and help me move forward, give me light and purpose. I might perceive it as something negative at the time, but down the line I will understand why it happened. Some of my students have come to me after many years and told me how they suddenly have found themselves and their purpose, because of an unexpected event.

When we leave our old mindset and start seeing our purpose, we free ourselves from worry and fill ourselves with the belief that we have something to offer. That is a journey with many unexpected twists and turns, but around every corner there is always a new opportunity waiting for us. If there were no corners or hills on our pathway, how would we gain in strength? Life is meant to be a journey on a winding road. If you are stuck, things will not open up until you dare to face yourself and dare realising that you have something to offer.

When you are ready to connect with who you are that is when passion just flows into your life.

Are you ready to move on?

Terry Evans interest in parapsychology and mediumship began at an early age. His first encounter with an actual spiritualist medium came at the age of 22, when he was given his first private consultation by a medium. The effects of that experience were to prove to be a turning point in his life, offering new realisations. These realisations motivated Terry to develop his own inner potential of mediumship and intuition.
